Established in 2014, Vashti House of Coutures is a brand that celebrates feminine energy.

Designer Thati Sekgobela creates beautiful designs with the sole purpose of helping women find themselves, express themselves and nurture themselves.

Since cutting up her mother's old clothes to make clothes for her dolls as a child, Thati Sekgobela has evolved into a fashion designer with a very clear vision.

After studying Fashion part time, she took to moonlighting in her fashion business for 2 years while still working her corporate job. Since taking the leap to launch her business full time January 2016 she hasn't looked back.

The word "Vashti" means thread in Hebrew; the main component that brings together pieces of fabric to make a garment. As thread indelibly connects fabrics to the garments, Vashti House of Coutures connects women to themselves.
