Born and raised in the rural developments of Mpumalanga where he matriculated, Treatwell Mnisi went on to enroll with the Tshwane University of Technology in pursuit of a National Diploma in Fine & Amp; Applied Arts (2008).

When given the opportunity, he was fortunate enough to facilitate art classes at the Tshwane Leadership Foundation in Pretoria (2011).

He also participated in entrepreneurial workshops with the Craft and Design Institute (CDI, 2015-2016) in order to broaden his knowledge of the arts & amp; craft market in Johannesburg, where he currently resides.

 In the year December 2020, he was invited to an auction fundraiser, hosted by Smile Artist Africa, where the campaign raised money for women with breast cancer.

 2021 – In March; he participated in a Pop-Up show hosted in Cape Town, where he exhibited work at the Alliance Françoise Du Cup, Cape Heritage Hotel and the Forge. Because of his love for children, his long-life dream is to implement community engagement projects, for the sole purpose of imparting knowledge and sharing skills to the youth.

He also seeks to gain international recognition and business sales with both local and international art organisations (galleries, museums, art fairs, collectors, etc.)
