Tosin Akingba is an emerging charcoal artist and poet. Born in1994 in Lagos state, her family originates from Ondo State. She holds a National Diploma and B.Sc in Mass Communication and had a short stint with Radio FM as a presenter before art came calling.

Her work is an expression of feelings, thoughts and emotions from one’s soul, with a drawing medium of pencils and charcoal made in such a way that it is understood and relatable. Her drawings are majorly about facial expressions telling a story.

Tosin's work tackles social, ethnic, political and religious issues in society, to highlight such issues and bring about the desire to promote positive change in the hearts of the audience. This and the belief that she can inspire others with her drawings , is what inspires her work as she hopes to change society, and the world, for the better.
