METAL is a Nigerian boot-styled footwear brand established in 2015. Founded by an architect and design enthusiast, we set out to challenge the narratives, perceptions and stereotypes commonly associated with Nigerian products.

Our shoes are handcrafted by artisans, indigenous to the Niger area. Combined with years of learning and excellent Portuguese craftsmanship handed down to us, we source the best leather, and cut every piece by hand. Then we hand stitch and hand fast each shoe to become a delight to the feet, a beauty to behold, and a functional addition to your wardrobe.
