Maliko is an artisanal shoe and accessory Label with an artsy and eclectic aesthetics. Ebuka Omaliko a self-taught designer heads the brand as the creative Director and the founder. His shoes are inspired by his personal experiences, interactions with people, culture and his environment.

As an advocate for sustainable fashion, Maliko uses leather cutoffs from the leather industry combined with ethical practices like weaving, hand embroidery and wood works by exclusively engaging local artisans of his community/ These artisans slowly handcraft each shoe one at a time using rigorous and thoughtful production processes, paying particular attention to excellent craftsmanship. Maliko believes that each shoe is a piece of art.  

The brand continues to research and identify diverse artisanal crafts found in Africa and uses them in production as a means of preserving these crafts from going extinct and also improving the quality of lives of the artisans.
