A native of Ekiti State, Korede is currently based in Lagos, Nigeria. After graduating with an MSc in Architecture from Covenant University in Ogun State, she is currently a practicing Artist and Muralist.

Korede uses her art to capture her questions on Self-Identity, exploring the effects of gender roles stipulated by society. In the process, she draws on the topics of loneliness and anxiety, loss of identity and the idea of love.

She sees her art as a means to answer these questions and when she can’t; she poses these questions to the viewers, inviting them to do so themselves.
