Ismail Zubair graduated top of his class from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State Nigeria with a National Diploma in Painting and General Art. He’s also worked and trained at Universal Studios of Art, Kamoru Sarumi Art Studio and acquired the Araism technique from Mufu Onifade. He’s worked with renowned South African artists Nicholas Hlobo and Nandipha Mntando, and was a Fine Art instructor at Sandton Library, Nelson Mandela Square, Johannesburg South Africa. He currently lives and works in Lagos Nigeria. He has participated in numerous art exhibitions including Baz’art, Alliance Francaise Lagos, SNA October Rain 2020, Be One Gallery Vietnam, Kalaratnam Foundation of Art India, among others.
