South African artist Samantha Maseko explores printmaking, paper collage and painting mediums.

She mostly uses printmaking and collage mediums for her conceptual work as these mediums are versatile, allowing her to explore the breadth of her creative concepts which speak about the misconception of Black Women in society.

Samantha uses oil painting to capture the beauty that exists in the world with monochromatic colour schemes. She believes that her ability to change the natural/original colours of things is proof that an artist may be the closest being to God.
