Jeannine studied Clothing Production Management which led to working alongside top SA designers in the 90’s. She then had a break from the clothing industry and went into a corporate career. Eventually the call to be back in fashion, coupled with good business experience from the corporate sector pushed Jeannine into buying her own clothing Boutique that is based in Sea Point, Cape Town. Founded in 2010, Alessia - is the result of passion for all things beautiful and unique. The global collection is influenced by the essence of travel, bringing selected brands together from many different fashion capitals around the world.

The owner Jeannine is known for supplying beautiful dresses. With her fine eye for exceptional detail and love of fine fabrics, Jeannine expanded the boutique collection of international labels as well as manufacturing her own local label - Alessia. Alessia Boutique is about to launch its Online store in April 2021 as well as feature on other online platforms- since closure of the boutique in March 2020 which has led changing with the times. Jeannine also plans to focus on her own label and drive the local production side of things so watch this space for some beautiful dresses for next summer.
